I like to remind my kids of my practice philosophy once in a while (even though they are sick of hearing it but will most like say it their kids one day). But even my infinite wisdom (silent snicker) can't prepare them for those practice session when no matter what you do nothing makes sense. Aden was having one of those days and so we decided to poke fun at the situation by making a funny video. Keep in mind that the song Aden is playing in the video is very easy for him and he has played it for months. For whatever reason, he just couldn't keep it together. :)

Practice doesn't make perfect!
I've always been a firm believer that practice does not make perfect! In fact, it is cruel to even say that to children. First of all, we can't be perfect. Second, if you practice poorly over and over again all you do is get good at doing things poorly. So, I like to say "PRACTICE MAKES BETTER OR WORSE, it all depends on how you practice."
