Ally and Aden participated in their first ballroom performance at the VZ Dance Studio Winter Showcase. The studio had a red carpet and awesome lighting! The kids both did a great job and had a blast!

After their performance, they were each awarded a medal for all their hard work.
Aden asked me, "Mom, does this medal count as a real award or is it like soccer where they give it to you even if you don't do a good job?" Even though everyone got one despite how they performed, I assured Aden that it "counted" because he worked so hard and gave a spectacular performance. :)

Aden and Tanya (his teacher and partner). Aden actually did a lot of the choreographing for his dance. His poor teacher could barely get a word in edge wise during his lessons. He has so many great ideas that they just couldn't fit them all into one performance. Aden had them dance to Wipe Out because he knew his dad would love the surfing/hawaiian theme (and he did).
